Rachel, Emily, Calum & Eilidh

This shoot was a home tie for me. Due to timing constraints it had to be carried out after school and given that the light fades pretty fast at this time of year it was a good chance to give my little studio a run out. We took some shots of Rachel, Emily, Calum and Eilidh in the studio first and managed to get outside for ten mins just before the sun set for some more natural photographs.

Here are a few of the shots :)

Jessica

It’s a small world, it really is. The minute Chris opened the door to me on this shoot we both had that ‘I know you from somewhere’ look on our faces. After a while we soon realised we were in the same class at college. Old age isn’t doing much for my memory ;)

In between desperately trying to remember Chris I had the pleasure of photographing his daughter Jessica, who was fantastic fun. We even managed to get outside for a couple of shots which was great.

Many thanks to Susan & Chris who put up with me :)

Here are a few shots.

Stuart & Jill at Irvine Gailes

From the minute I met Stuart and Jill I knew their day was going to be a nice relaxed affair. An added bonus was finding out the groom Stuart was a Man V Food fan too, there aren’t many of us ;)

The wedding itself took place at Irvine Gailes, which is a very nice location. Being a golfer I was looking forward to getting the couple out onto the nearby course for a couple of photographs but unfortunately the monsoon conditions put paid to that. Nevertheless we managed to get some nice shots inside as there are plenty of nooks and crannies to go to.

Many thanks and congratulations to the happy couple, their day was superb!

Here are a few shots.

Jake

It’s always great to get lots of smiley photographs of children but my favourites are the ones where the child is lost in their own little world. With Jake it was almost impossible to get a shot like this as he was smiling and laughing all the time. The first photograph pretty much tells the story. Serious face for 2 milliseconds then back to laughing away.

Many thanks to mum and dad, especially dad, who kept me plied with cakes throughout the shoot ;)

Here are a few shots.

Neil & Elaine

Neil and Elaine were married in Las Vegas but decided to have their reception at home. I was asked to take some relaxed shots of the couple and also take a few shots of the reception in Wishaw. Neil and Elaine had done their location scout beforehand and found a great location not too far away which made my job a lot easier. I love it when clients take the time to scout for potential locations as it shows they have put some thought into their shoot.

Luckily the weather was great so we got some outside shots then headed off to the reception where we managed to get some more formal shots squeezed in as well.

Congratulations to you guys, I thoroughly enjoyed your day :)

As always here are a few shots.
