Faine & Christopher | Wedding Photography Glasgow

I know I say it all the time but I really am lucky with the families I get to photograph. I first met Faine and her family away back in December 2011 when I photographed her sister Colleen's wedding at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. The next time I met the family was at her other sister Erin's wedding in May 2015 at The Parsonage. As ever I was really looking forward to seeing everybody again but it was also a touch bittersweet as this would be the last wedding for me to photograph.

The day started for me at Faine's mum and dad's house and as ever it was a very relaxed morning. Once again Faine's dad Frank did not disappoint when he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time. As a wedding photographer there is nothing better than photographing real moments and emotions and with Frank you are always guaranteed exactly that, which is exactly the way it should be.

After a lovely ceremony at St. Joseph's in Tollcross it was then off to Crossbasket Castle in Blantyre for the reception. Once Christopher had sorted his makeup ;) it was outside for a few relaxed photos in the sun with the happy couple. After three fantastic speeches it was then on to the meal and then the dancing where there were some pretty funky moves being performed on the dancefloor, although I won't name any names.. ;)

It's been a real pleasure to photograph this lovely family over the years and I count myself truly lucky to have met them all :)
