There’s rain, then there’s the rain that fell on Gavin and Michelle’s wedding day. Not that it mattered one bit to the happy couple as they were oblivious to the monsoon falling around them, which is just as it should be

We started off in Michelle’s house which wasn’t far from the centre of Edinburgh. The house itself was very calm and relaxed on the morning and everybody was just enjoying the day. After the bridal prep it was on to the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel in the centre of Edinburgh for the ceremony. Unfortunately the rain was pretty relentless and we only managed a couple of shots outside before having to retire inside. After the meal we managed to sneak out to the balcony and stairway for a couple more shots, just before the first dance.
